- ½ Tbsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp Chinsu soy sauce
- Garlic
- Shallot
For braising
- 1 can (12 fl oz) Coco Rico coconut soda
Instructions
- Mix the fish sauce, sugar, Chinsu, garlic and shallot, add the pork and marinate for 30 minutes.
- Sear the pork in a hot pot until browned on all sides.
- Pour in the Coco Rico, cover and cook for 45 minutes.

Notes & substitutions
We braise this with Coco Rico, a coconut soda. Leaving the lid off for the last 10 minutes cooks the liquid down into a glossy sauce.
