Coconut Water Braised Pork · Thịt Khìa Nước Dừa

Sliced glazed coconut-braised pork next to a dome of white rice on a grey plate, with a bowl of chayote and egg stir-fry on the side

Pork belly marinated with fish sauce, sugar, garlic, shallot and chili sauce, seared, then braised in coconut water until tender. The last few minutes uncovered reduce the sauce to a sticky glaze. We had it with rice and su su xào trứng.
